Hello all, just found this site and I think I am gonna like it alot. I have a old Cub Cadet that a guy gave me at work, it has a 12 hp Kohler on it. The piston won't move, but the flywheel does. Thinking about rebuilding it. I will try to get some pics on here soon. Very Happy

Hey welcome scoyt,

It sounds like you'll have some fun with that engine, although hopefully it is only the conn. rod, it'll be a good winter project.

Yes, sounds like the rod is gone, hopefully it didn't hurt the crank or the block, well winter is about half over, should be hearing the engine run soon. Let us know how you do with the engine. I have an onan 18hp twin that i have the heads off, need to get the valves ground. I want to replace the briggs 16hp twin in my sears puller with it, guess i better get busy with it, time flies. Good luck.
